BECA / SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
A significant aspect of HLCNI’s mission is the education and professional development of our Latino students in Northeast Indiana. To accomplish that goal, HLCNI engages in several community initiatives. Among these initiatives is the “Beca HLCNI” program, which annually awards several scholarships to deserving students from our region pursuing higher education degrees at accredited colleges and universities in Indiana.
These scholarships are awarded at our annual “Noche de Gala” fundraiser which will be held in July.
As of February 2019, HLCNI has awarded over 1000 scholarships through this program to further the education of our Latino youth.
