Latino Leadership Pipeline

You are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Latino Leadership Pipeline, hosted by the Hispanic Leadership Coalition of Northeast Indiana (HLCNI).

This one-day leadership development program is designed to prepare Latino/Hispanic individuals for leadership opportunities and appointment to nonprofit boards in our community. 

The training will be led by Mike Stone of Stone Consulting, LLC, an expert in nonprofit board development. Participants will learn how nonprofit boards operate, how to identify boards that align with their interests and experience, and what skills are needed to be considered for board service.

In addition, we will feature a panel of local leaders who will share their advice, experiences, and insights on nonprofit board service.

A professional headshot opportunity will also be included with admission.

Our community has many nonprofit organizations doing important work, yet Latino/Hispanic individuals remain underrepresented on nonprofit boards. The Latino Leadership Pipeline was created to help build a strong network of qualified Latino/Hispanic leaders ready to serve and make a difference in our community.

The $30 fee includes light breakfast, lunch, materials, full-day training, and a professional headshot opportunity.

Applicants must complete the application and submit a letter of recommendation highlighting their skills, accomplishments, character, leadership potential, and community engagement.
